Collection, processing and use of personal data:
Personal data about the hirer is only collected and used by us in a fair and appropriate fashion in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG in German) and the German Teleservices Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG in German). We may collect data such as your name, address, gender, date of birth, customer number, telephone number, bank details, payment method and email address. Personal data is collected when our online contact form is filled out and transmitted or if you place a booking with us. This personal data is only used and saved to ensure that your booking can be processed smoothly and in order to fulfill our contractual obligations.
Your personal data will not be circulated to third parties without your prior consent and/or unless this is necessary to process your order. This may apply for example if a courier is being used to make a delivery. In order to process or verify payments, your bank details will be forwarded to our bank, however in such cases we always strive to keep any form of data disclosure to an absolute minimum.
Right to access, amend, block or delete your personal data:
As a hirer your personal data is not saved permanently until you have made a firm booking with us. At any time you have the right to retract the future use of your personal data by sending us an email to info@the-tea-ladies.com. You may request access to your personal data at any time and you have the right to request that this is either amended blocked or deleted, providing that this does not conflict with any statutory provisions of law such as the Principles of Data Access (GDPdU in German).
Once a booking is completed, your data will be blocked and retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the requirements set out by tax and business law. Afterwards your data will be deleted permanently unless you have expressly agreed that we can save and use your data for future notifications and/or promotional purposes. If you consent to the use of your email, we will contact you with news of our hire service or offers up until the point that you decide to opt out which can be done at any time.
